Craftsman Lovliness

Hello, so I made another couple of houses recently. I chose to make the houses in a 1920's bungalow style. I've always had a thing for the twenties, a time of rising prosperity, and architecture and fashion-wise, great beauty. The bungalow was one of the most popular styles of home during the time, and millions, probably more, were made all over the United States.



So here is the first one, which I called Craftsman Comfort. It's swell for single sims or couples, with one bedroom, on bathroom, and a charming and very comfortable living area.





This is the front of the house, obviously, which I've colored in a cheerful blue yellow and white color scheme, which I find ver nice. It has a great front porch, which really invites you into the house I think.



Here's the living room, which I made in a very typical craftsman style, with high wainscotting in a dark, almost mahogany colored, wood. I chose all very comfortable, in the craftsman style Can't you just imagine sitting here reading a nice book by the fireplace?



Here's the dining room, and I know that it's a bad view, but I has some serious issues with preview shot. Anyhow it's very nice, and has a marketry inlayed floor (sims style)


Above you can see the lovely kitchen, with the perfect cabinets, the perfect appliances, and the perfect everything. I was particularly happy with this part of the house, it's just very nice.

Here's the last room photo, it's the one bedroom in the house, and I think that it is very good.


Now it's time for house number two! House number two is perfect for families, with three bedrooms, one bathrom, larger living areas, and a great vintage kichen.



Here's the front, with a beautiful front porch, and beautiful deep colors inspired by the autumn.



Here's the living room, which is very spacious, and has more than enough room for a growing family. It has a fantastic fireplace with original tilework, wood flooring, and quality furnishings and artwork.



And to the left and through a lovely craftsman arch, is a fabulous dinging room. You can't tell from the preview pic, I guess I have a thing about dining room pictures.



Here's a small bedroom that is off the dining room. It has a small office area in the room, and is very nice if you'd ask me, and I wouldn't mind sleeping there myself, although I prefer a queen size bed, but I digress...

Now let's take a short trip back through the dining room and the living room and to the kitchen. the kitchen doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. It's a place to cook in, very simple, and charming.

There's one more bedroom, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to take a phot of!!!!! The little camera can be so annoying!!
